Rosso rubino intenso. Al naso esprime belle note di frutti rossi e di spezie dolci, un tocco balsamico e solo lontanamente vegetale. Al palato è ricco, di stoffa, morbido e caratterizzato da una trama tannica vellutata. Di ottima persistenza. A tutto pasto, si abbina a primi saporiti e selvaggina come cervo, cinghiale, lepre.
