Storicamente il Vintage Tunina parte come uvaggio delle migliori uve che raccolte tardivamente, a seconda delle annate, circa due settimane dopo la normale vendemmia su una superficie di circa 16 ha di vigneto coltivato sul Ronco del Fortino. Il nome Tunina si riferisce alla vecchia proprietaria del terreno su cui è sito l’originario vigneto ed è dedicato all’amante più povera del Casanova, che era una governante a Venezia che per l’appunto anche lei si chiamava Tunina (Antonia).

The first evidence dates back to the 1973 harvest and the first vintage put on sale with that name and label was the 1975 harvest. Historically, the Vintage Tunina starts as a grape of the best grapes that are harvested late, depending on the vintages, about two weeks after the normal harvest on an area of about 16 ha of vineyards cultivated on the Ronco del Fortino. The name Tunina refers to the old owner of the land on which the original vineyard is located and is dedicated to the poorest lover of Casanova, who was a housekeeper in Venice who was also called Tunina (Antonia).
