Il vitigno Pecorino a bacca bianca autoctono è il simbolo dell’area OFFIDA DOCG. Un tempo veniva coltivato tra le montagne che circondano Offida, ma da alcuni anni le vigne sono aumentate, grazie alla passione dei vignaioli, che hanno continuato a coltivarlo anche in nuovi e moderni vigneti. Il vino Offida DOCG Pecorino dona una sensazione di freschezza immediata, con piacevoli e intense note agrumate, ma che, con il passare del tempo, tendono ad evolversi verso sensazioni di dolcezza. Il Pecorino si presenta con un color giallo paglierino.

The native white Pecorino vine is the symbol of the OFFIDA DOCG area. It was once cultivated in the mountains surrounding Offida, (300 m above sea level) but in recent years the vineyards have increased, thanks to the passion of the winemakers, who have continued to cultivate it even in new and modern vineyards. The Offida DOCG Pecorino wine gives an immediate sensation of freshness, with pleasant and intense citrus notes, but which, with the passage of time, tend to evolve towards sensations of sweetness. Pecorino has a straw yellow color.
